Manny Pacquiao #3 on Yahoo “Most searched athletes” of 2011
More evidence of Manny Pacquiao’s rise to the level of an iconic global sports superstar: He ranks third on Yahoo’s Most Searched Athletes List for 2011. The top ten: Danica Patrick, Tiger Woods, Manny Pacquiao, Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams, Kris Humprhies, Hope Solo, Kobe Bryant, Lamar Odom, and Caroline Wozniacki. Read the full list here.
Pondering this, I’m struck by the fact that the “Against the odds” quality of this is really twofold — one, because 8 of the top 10 are Americans and for Manny, a Filipino who is based in the Philippines and who in fact embodies the Philippines to make it, is very gratifying. (The second non-American was Wozniacki, who just slipped in at number 10). Secondly, he’s a boxer and no other boxers even came close to making the top 10 — including Floyd Mayweather, Jr. This is impressive for Manny, and sad for boxing, which has lost fans consistently over the last two decades. But the results show that boxing still has the capacity to propel someone to iconic stature — and Manny is that guy.
Congrats to Manny and the Philippnes…;-)

Interesting post, I agree with some of it, but not all!
I additionally believe that mesothelioma cancer is a unusual form of many forms of cancer that is typically found in people previously familiar with asbestos. Cancerous cellular material form inside mesothelium, which is a safety lining that covers almost all of the body’s organs. These cells typically form within the lining from the lungs, mid-section, or the sac that encircles the heart. Thanks for expressing your ideas.
Keep up the fantastic work , I read few articles on this internet site and I think that your web blog is rattling interesting and contains bands of fantastic information.
And as a consequence there was too little content to inspire consumers to become editors or creators.
Howdy this is kind of of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding expertise so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
Thank you a lot for providing individuals with such a remarkable opportunity to read critical reviews from here. It is often so awesome and packed with a great time for me personally and my office peers to visit your blog nearly thrice per week to learn the newest issues you have got. And definitely, we’re actually contented with your incredible information you serve. Some two tips in this post are clearly the finest we’ve had.
While this certainly is the most frequent means of filtering and is a good start, that only filter systems water you manually pour involved with it.
Took some time to go through all the comments, but I really did get something out of reading the post. It proved to become incredibly valuable to me and, I am sure. to everyone posting comments! It’s not often that you can be informed, and also entertained at the same time. I am certain you also got something out of writing this article.
I have taken notice that in video cameras, special detectors help to target automatically. The actual sensors associated with some cams change in contrast, while others work with a beam involving infra-red (IR) light, especially in low lighting. Higher specs cameras oftentimes use a combination of both techniques and probably have Face Priority AF where the camera can ‘See’ the face while keeping focused only on that. Thanks for sharing your notions on this site.
